More on school reform from Ruben Navarrette Jr.

In Hispanic Enterprise, a publication of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Ruben Navarrette Jr. wrote an insightful article that questions which political party harms school reform and Hispanics need for school choice.
His conclusion was Democrats:
“It is not personal. I’m sure that Democrats don’t set out to undermine the education of Hispanics. It is just one hand washing the other. Democrats are just taking care of the teacher unions that take care of them, at the expense of future generations.”
In some aspects, Democrats are definitely voucher and/or tax credit haters.
But really, any politician who is against parents picking the best school that benefits their kids education is a complete loser in my book. Why should a zip code dictate the future of our children’s education?
