Camden schools follow Puerto Rico’s step

Yesterday, non-instructional staff from Camden, NJ schools didn’t show up to work, leaving thousands of kids behind.
What is this nonsense? Is this a new tactic of the AFL-CIO, walkouts at the expense of children’s educational needs.
I tell ya, unions are evil.
The reason for the walkout:
The problem, which was not clear until the afternoon, appears to be a dispute among 400 to 500 hourly workers and the elected school board. An unknown number of custodians and a reported variety of other noninstructional employees declined to work normal hours Monday — an apparent sign of unrest in labor negotiations with the school district.
