Democrats don’t care about D.C. kids and education

Yesterday, Democratic Congresswoman Norton (D.C.) said the following to the Washington Post:
We have to protect the children, who are the truly innocent victims here,” said Norton, who like many Democrats opposes vouchers as a threat to public school systems. “But I can tell you that the Democratic Congress is not about to extend this program.”
Her comments came about in an article dealing with the Fate of the DC Voucher Program.
She wants to “protect” innocent kids.
Bullshit!
How is holding 59,000 kids hostage in failing public schools - protection?
So, whom is she protecting?
Union thugs, not kids.
In 2006 and 2008, she received $20,000 in campaign contributions from unions based on the understanding that she will empower union bureaucrats and lessen parents control in their children’s education. She is part of this left-wing conspiracy movement that is against parents making the best choices for their kids.
She opposes parents; she despises them, because they don’t donate enough money to her campaigns. Norton, along with many other Democrats, are bought out by special interest - unions - who are scared of competition. Unions don’t want schools, teachers, and principals competing to become better schools because it would kill the whole purpose of their business, securing mediocre jobs at very high salaries at taxpayers expense.
Norton needs to stop her campaign against school vouchers.
