The mayor of New York, Mike Bloomberg, attended former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush’s education summit.
While Bloomberg supports charter schools and more public choice he opposes vouchers.

Last year, the teachers sued the state saying the voucher law passed in 2006 was unconstitutional because public money can’t go to private schools.
The lower court said, parents win, unions - you lose.

Yesterday I blogged about Sun-Sentinel’s terrible opinion on school vouchers. Personally, I found their opinion filled with loopholes.
However, the Miami Herald’s opinion had substance and provides examples unlike the Sun-Sentinel. However, I still disagree with them.
Here is their logic on not removing the state’s Blaine Amendment in order to get school vouchers.
